Million Mile Club inductees honored and celebrated

HOUSTON, Texas (May 21, 2015)—US AutoLogistics (USAL), the Houston-based premier auto transport company, recently announced its 2015 inductees to its celebrated Million Mile Club. The announcement was made at the company's annual all associates day event on April 13 at the company's headquarters in Houston, Texas.
USAL's Million Mile Club was created to distinguish its esteemed driver associates who have accumulated at least one million consecutive accident-free miles during their driving careers. This elite honor clearly demonstrates each driver’s commitment to the company's S.O.L.D. philosophy.

"This is one of the most rewarding things I could have done in my driving career," said Buddy Seale, one of four auto transport drivers at USAL to receive the honor. Rounding out this year's class was Rob Dawson, Carl Hokanson, and Tim Wright.

"I'm in awe of it, really, hitting the million mile mark," added Hokanson of San Antonio. "I owe it to my dad. He got me into hauling cars."

With logging at least one million miles comes a wealth of road experience. USAL's Million Mile drivers often informally mentor newer drivers—giving walkarounds or tours of the terminals and loading pad, teaching them the intricacies of properly mixing a load, or just offering a sound piece of advice.

"To the new drivers, you have to be patient, take your time and don't get in a big hurry," said Dawson. "Just pay attention to what's going on around you."

Tim Wright, an auto transport driver for 34 years added, "Stay calm and pay attention to your mentors. They are all trying to give you information. You might not use it all but there's something in every piece of advice that you can use."
