USAL is excited to begin taking delivery of Peterbilt’s new day cab and sleeper tractor configurations—innovations that are raising the bar for the auto transport industry.
As a trusted partner, USAL collaborated with Peterbilt throughout the development of these new trucks. By incorporating feedback from industry leaders like USAL, Peterbilt created solutions tailored to the specific requirements of auto carriers, integrating low-profile design, lightweight construction, and driver-centric features into vehicles that deliver exceptional performance, efficiency, and comfort.
The Model 567 day cab boasts the lowest factory roof height in the industry at 95 inches, eliminating USAL's need for aftermarket roof modifications. This model fits exceptionally well with USAL's urban and regional hauling needs, featuring a sleeker, more aerodynamic profile that enhances fuel efficiency while providing greater visibility through its larger windshield and mirrors.
For longer hauls, the Model 589 sleeper blends comfort and functionality with Peterbilt's traditional "old-school" hood styling. The sleeper berth offers ample space and advanced climate control systems, ensuring drivers have a comfortable and productive experience during longer periods on the road.
Both models feature Peterbilt's rugged aluminum cab construction and PACCAR MX engines paired with the TX-12 automatic transmission. These enhancements align with USAL's commitment to operational efficiency, safety, and driver satisfaction.
In addition to Peterbilt's latest safety features, including advanced braking systems and collision avoidance technology, USAL equips its fleet with 360-degree video monitoring, lane departure warning systems, Cold Fire suppressants, real-time tire performance monitoring, and a reflective decal package to maximize visibility and showcase USAL's brand.
Cottrell Trailers of Gainesville, Georgia, completes USAL's production transports with the ultra-custom fabrication of their Model CX-09LS Quickloader trailer.
USAL is proud to partner with industry leaders like Peterbilt and Cottrell Trailers to push the boundaries of auto transport solutions. These new trucks not only enhance operational efficiency but also demonstrate USAL's commitment to providing drivers with the best tools available.
